Some thoughts

I am like a broken compass, its that feeling where u are kinda stuck at a junction, and everywhere seems to be the right way. So which way shd I go?

Perhaps I'm running too fast in my life. Chasing over things that I may not able to handle it yet. Its no use realizing your fast pace when u have already neglected the beautiful things that have always been around. Went AMK Hub to shop around after sch. Shoppers were waiting patiently their turn to board a cab; likewise cabs were patiently moving forward to pick up their passengers. It reminded me that sometimes, there are things that I can't rush them to happen. Patiently, given time, things will fall into their own right places.

I believe, given time, I shall be boarding a cab to a journey I will enjoy.

I shall indulge myself with ice creams after the exams.

Dad's Birthday Celebration

just came back from dinner,

so Dad's turning 60 next week,
so we had a meal as a family to celebrate his bday early instead of next sat.
It was our first attempt at Pow Sing（报喜）Restaurant at Serangoon Garden Way.
Its that restaurant featured for the best chicken rice on some food hunt programme a couple of yrs ago...
4 dishes + 1 soup , it came up to 80 plus dollars,
Chicken was very tender, of cos it has to be the best, its the 主角
But my fav was the pork ribs, which was rather crispy, had that unique sauce :)

It was my treat, lol, my very first dinner treat to my family :)
Tho a simple dinner,
but wats more impt is having the whole family sit down together and enjoy a meal

I just checked my MSN, and it is freaking 34 degrees now!! Desert life lol

Studying alone in EA now, taking a break...

So today went to ntu to eat breakfast :) tho I told kl that I will be gg in Dec. It was a random move, and I took a stroll around the engine building n realized they actually have rooms that are named "Examination Room", its like only opened for this purpose. Yup, and students were waiting outside still reading their notes, having the nervous look, its the same scenario over here. And their study room realli look like an office, all got separate cubicles one. Anws I think I am now more familiar with the roads over there, dun have to find street directory to hunt for NIE and Engine blk le. Hopefully I can watch some musical play/concert at ntu soon, but then I wun know unless someone informs me, haha. I havent been to their urms "UCC", its quite nicely decorated on the outside tho.

Angela told me she is a procrastinator, I think I am a bigger one. I am in the 'crawling' stage when it comes to studying for my MA, so inefficient lehz, havnt started on my TE *fainting*

Recently, I realized I am very nagging, nobody told me that but I just felt that way, talk and talk over the same issue again and again. Could somebody just tell me to shut up?

trying to fill up 4 pages of cheat sheet for MA exam. Almost done :)
Its time-consuming actually, but then its the last lapse before everything is over, so might as well give it my best shot.
Hopefully my efforts will reap in the As....
Mid term didnt do well, low 60s, so i ain't expecting much.

This module is definitely not for the weak-hearted, oh well..

Cravings

For some unknown reasons, suddenly having a craving for Fish n Co. My appetite is realli weird, and I got a feeling ttsh has given up on me. Currently feeding on Remeron, but I wanna be freed from tat asap.

Exams are near, yet I am watching Korean drama. Done with epi 14 of You're Beautiful. Somehow the plot reminds me of some ch8 TV drama tat was aired donkey years ago, can't remember the title. Fell in love with the OST, the theme song esp and the song that was played in epi 1, "I will promise you" something something....lol. Anws this drama brings back some memories, yup, somehow it does....I watched le, so anyway, jus 2 more episodes to the end.

Had coffee with meiling today. Everyone is mugging so hard, so I guess we should just take a short break once in a while to chit chat. Or perhaps I just needed someone to talk to. Random..

Lent my old labby to Jerry who has a Dreamweaver assignment to be submitted on Thurs and his own labby is under servicing. Went for a short walk at Punggol Park after meeting him. Felt refreshed tho a lil' tired.

End of Reading Week

It just rained again, making the day seem so dull -_-
MisterLyon is sleepy Zzzz....
So I stayed at home today, woke up late, decided nt to go school
Trying to go through Calculus again and again, tho some concepts seem weird to me.
And no friends to discuss and revise with me :(
So have to do everything myself.
Hope can finish calculus today, stats by weekends, then nx week start on ese TE.

Boring day...lalala

Sometimes I wonder....

Sometimes I like to question myself if this is the life that I want, when there are so much uncertainities and unpredictability of the outcome emerging from my actions. The situation seems to be much more complicated than what I have always thought it would be. Hopes are just lil' dreams, and when they do come true in reality, I would very much be contented. If they do not, I guess its just fate, something we can't really take control of.

I often ask myself if I am doing the right thing. I ponder over my actions recently and wonder if I am trying to force something out of nowhere. Do anyone really understand what I want to achieve? Are my efforts going down the drain? Perhaps I should just stop and give up. But then again, I know I ain't that kind of person who will throw in the towel so easily.

I can't do a U-turn, can I? Should I? But I don't want to. It could be too late for me, and I am afraid that I would regret in the future. Perhaps I am asking too much, worrying too much about things that do not actually happen. I envy my friends very often, they seem to be very satisfied and happy with their own life. I guess it shouldnt very difficult to achieve that.

My broadband went haywire, so I am tapping on somebody else's wireless, shhh....

Slept at 710pm, woke up at 11pm. Hence, I am now very awake haha

Med appt later with Dr Alice. Not sure what I will tell her.
Have been constantly changing appt dates due to sch work, but I guess I shd go.

Watched AR today, 4 teams left, three weeks more to finale.
Support Meghan and Cheyne. Four #1 finishes already!
Hate Ericka's impatience and her constant screaming on Bryan.
Flight Time & Big Easy always win in a foot race, if they get into top 3, most likely they might win.
Sam & Dan, well, physical strong, mentally hmm...dunnoe abt that. They kept screaming at each other during the Roadblock switchback in Sweden.

My top 3 prediction:
Meghan & Cheyne (I just want them to win!)
Flight Time & Big Easy (Sometimes its fun to see tall giants walking ard lol)
Bryan & Erika (They are the weakest so far, so pls enter to make up the numbers lol)

Next week to Prague, which AR will span for 2 weeks at this location. So one of these 2 epi will be a non-elimination worz :p

Reading week

Woke up at 430 today, didnt sleep much tho, and realized I can't sleep further, so decided to blog :p

Sending my Grandma off to HK later in the morning before gg sch to mug.

I was slacking the whole weekend. Confession! *spank myself*

Returned back to Celebral Palsy Centre on sat to help out, wanted to give myself a break for one day, but actually I do miss my friends over there. Felt rather guilty for being absent for 11 mths and they actually went to Hongkong in Aug for their competition, then visited Disneyland, wah cool!

There are more patients this time round, sad :(
but then again its not up to them to choose this path. So they are rather shorthanded for volunteers for this period and probably I will be gg there more often. Somehow I have forgotten the incident tat happened last Dec, its getting rather insignificant to me, its a good thing tat I don't really think much of it these days, really.

So went bowling with Jerry at our lao di fang. If I had known he had PE classes the day before, I wouldnt drag him over there. Could tell how tired his hands were from the way he threw the balls. Played only 1 game eventually and we went Ya Kun for coffee and to 谈心事. Ya, got something out of my chest finally, but the prob is still unsolved :(
But anws THANKS to my bro for providing the listening ear.

Perhaps I need to lock myself up in my own room for 1 week, don't need 七七四十九天, I still need to take exams hor! No laptop = no MSN + no facebook, just that stack of NOTES, argghh! Oh ya, not forgetting my coffee doses and my iPod :D
