NTU Breakfast

Am blogging from NTU right now! Sent qt to NIE today, its been a while since I last visited the Engine Fac, and was surprised to see a few new food outlets after the closure of Canteen A. Then walked into Bistro Restaurant and was attracted by the breakfast set.

Only 2.5 bucks! To me, it taste like heaven, love it! This would probably make me visit NTU more frequently. =)

The sensation of being on top of the world and surrounded by the magnificant views of our garden city is simply great! It takes about 30 mins to go one big round, but time really flies when you are having fun. Caught glimpses of Indonesia and Malaysia but was pretty unclear due to the haze and today happen to be a very hot afternoon. Capsule guide was a really enthu lady. Do u know that the Flyer was going the anticlockwise direction when it first started operation? But due to fengshui, it is now going clockwise. So you will view the scenary first before the commercial sector. Took a lot of photos, these are just a few.

Happy 22th Birthday to u! The celebration was a few days late, but I am glad it turned out well. Going an extra mile to surprise u and seeing that radiant smile on your face, I kno everything is worth it ^^

Oct 16 - Just an entry

Today was pretty embarrassed, I screwed up my Microbes presentation, initially was planned to be 2 mins of me blabbering, 2 mins video. Then that composting toilet video suddenly couldnt play! Siao liao. I should have NEVER press the "full screen" button for youtube videos. I actually came early to rehearse for this, thot everything was fine and perfect. Well, its over anyway....and my midterm test results sucked! Obbard likes to deduct my marks, hmph..

Oh ya, and today the bad boy actually skipped his 2 tutorials in the morning to do decision report in library. Was having a huge headache though, so came up with the 'bright' idea. I am such a bad influence, lol

Finally received my pre-ordered long-awaited Jay Chou album yesterday, still deciding whether to open up the whole package cuz I really curious what's inside. But something is holding me back. :p (KL mei shd know why) Anywae, the album cover really shocked me, Jay looked like terminator like that, I almost thot the salegirl gave me the wrong album, but when I looked closer, ya, it is really him. 没错没错！ All the song titles were altered, they purposely want make it different from the online leaked version.

Happy Belated Birthday to Jerry! It was yesterday and I hoped he enjoyed his date with his part-time wife. Dunnoe y, but I like the feeling when my best buddy is suddenly older than me (for 4 days). Time to take IPPT again bro! Go get the money and we can have a great meal together! haha

Meiy's Birthday Party

Althought Meiy's birthday was yesterday, she actually held a party at her house 2 saturdays ago, because of the dragonboat last Sat, so she xi shen a bit, shifted it 1 week earlier. Okie, was the first time I stepped into her house, really big, then almost couldn't find the washroom, actually it was there la but I just couldnt see it, haha, and I didn't drink! I was sober! Most of the ESESC comm turned up, they are really a bunch of fun and crappy pple, lol, and they are very 'naughty'.

The princess should really wear more contact lens and dresses, ya! Pretty sia!

Unfazed By Waves

The very first ESESC Special Proj external event was at Kallang Dragonboat Association and it was a great success. Despite the swim test, we were still able to fill up 4 boats. Kudos to the SP team! Weather was really hot, I just commented on Meiy's tanned skin yesterday, then this morning when I woke up, my hands also chao-tar! -_-

This 牛仔 guy is back again, showing off as a magician this time round and merging music with the art of sorcery on his latest album, Capricorn 《魔杰座》, named after his own Zodiac sign.

Released date pushed back to 15 Oct...sighz, and I actually went to pre-order this album during the recess wk because of that Rubik Cube, lol

稻香 is starting to grow on me，the MV was a touching one. Song revolves around childhood experiences in a small village, and uses simple rhythm and natural sounds. A very 单纯 kind of song, no "stunt", easier to master compared to that 牛仔很忙. 魔杰座 is still my fav song, perhaps I have heard too many of his ballets, now more interested in fast tunes...

Cleaning up the Cobwebs

Terrible! This blog is accumulating cobwebs le. Haha, this Semester is damn busy la, and today I managed to reach home early which is good cuz I haven’t had an afternoon nap for ages. Now I am wide awake! (and still drinking Kopi, I am the coffee king, I always tell that to my sister)

International Coastal Cleanup

ICCS on 20 Sep at Sungei Buloh went pretty well; In fact, many problems which I had expected earlier did not surface on the actual big day and it did not rain, so we were quite lucky this yr. 2 to 3 months of early planning with yf and Meiy really paid off and I must say it was more fun than when I was organizing Zusammen. Anyway, woke up at 430am that day, rushed to amk park Mac for breakfast before picking up Meiy and Cheefung. Everything was running smoothly, even at my pickup point at Admin Block, no problematic last min cases to handle, thanks to the site buddies who are very “automatic” people. Really glad to be able to have them to help out in this event, next time they would be doing it themselves while we sit back and relax lol…

NUS collected 1,226kg of trash this year, which was a lot compared to last year. The duration of cleanup was reduced to 1.5hrs due to shortage of trash bags, yup, we didn’t hire bodyguards to look after the HQ, lol…so eventually the bags were “shared” with the other schools. Haha..ya, then went back to sch to wash the gloves, which took like forever to dry. Reached home at 7 plus, got screwed by my mum for reaching home late, didn’t feel good that weekend though….Oh my, I have not written this post event report for my NYAA, time really flies, 2 wks have already gone by...

ESESC Retreat

A break away from the busy assignments and lab reports… and that morning, I was actually negotiating with Liya and persuading her not to split my lab group at the last min, which didn’t work out and obviously thein can’t do anything...Sigh...Aiya, anyway the very first E-Zac retreat was a great success! The best one I have ever attended. An event well planned by the committee…*thumbs up

Posing with the Ship Of Destiny (Engineering Masterpiece) The Ship Of Destiny was created because of the Egg Drop game. It has to withstand the force of the egg dropped from a height. Every egg passed Level 1, which was quite easy abt 3m height. So when it comes to Level 2 abt 7m high, my hands got itchy and I volunteered to drop one. Then it cracked a bit -_- Stresss la…not easy actually, not that I actually practiced dropping eggs in my free time. People will say I am crazy… In the end, our group still lost but I really enjoyed the forfeit, lol..
