Ashlee Simpson – Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)

After a long long break and yup, lots of plastic surgery, this lady is back on the music scene with a sassy new sound. This song really reminds me of the 80’s, but I got to admit that it is a catchy tune with a great beat. Produced by Timbaland, I think this number has the most interesting and artistic video to date. The video begins with a restless Ashlee in her psychiatrist’s office, but then her imagination takes the wheel. She does everything in the video from floating on a giant Rubik’s cube to transforming into a glam robot. A bit siao! Lol..

This is not a fairy tale, mind you…Anyways, it is still my favourite Ashlee hit till now…

SDW (Structural Design Week)

Exactly 2 weeks to my first paper, 5 days to the dreaded 2164 quiz, and I am still reading the thick pile of notes lying on my desk. Better late than never I guess. I am gonna think of a strategy to excel in this mod cuz I dun want history to repeat again. I do not want to get that grade again, I want something better. Hence, Mister Lyon is declaring this week 13 the “Structural Design Week”…..finally I can settle down and revise my work cuz this wk seems pretty slack…..or did I forget to do assignments for other mods again? I hope everything is fine.

Planning to go Eskimo after exam, have always wanted to step into this icy cold place, really feels like u are in North Pole, just that there ain’t penguins surrounding you. Since qt jio me to go, I have no reason to reject..haha…

In YIH study area now, the atmosphere seems so tense, everyone so pia….Look at their ‘ghostly’ tired face…aiyoz…吓死人啦! Someone bring me Jin Feng San leh...

Jesse McCartney – Leavin’

The guy who was the voice of Theodore in the feature film 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' is back with a spanking third new album which he named it ‘Departure’. The album, a mass of electronic urban pop, has a little more of mature sound than what was previously heard from him. ‘Leavin’, the first single, is an echo-reliant, xylophone-accented midtempo tune, assuring fans that he is indeed improving and reaching a commendable new plateau. Unveiling a more grownup sound and image on the album, he commented that there was a certain shock value to it and that it now caters for an older audience than the Disney crowd. I guess this is the result of what I call musical puberty…lolx..

Don’t stress, Don’t stress….haha..wat an appropriate song to those taking exams..

突然领悟

我多渴望自己是一架机器人，可以不眠不休地奋斗着。 很多时候，我们在为目标努力的同时，无意间忽略了身旁那群爱护即关心自己的家人和朋友们。就好像有一座山档住视线， 让我们无法看清方向。

周六在家里养病， 晚上复习功课，不知不觉就睡着了，凌晨3点醒的时候发现自己趴在桌上。隔天早上看见太阳时，觉得非常精神，病魔似乎已消失得无影无踪。在YIH Study Area 待了整天， 为了要把七堂课的 Webcast 看完，但是始终没做到。GEK1505 的竞争实在是太激烈了，刚收到了CA 成绩， 考了八十九分而兴奋了一 阵子， 一直到我瞄了Tutor 的成绩册，才发现自己的成绩其实只是一般， 根本也没什么好得意的。看来 Final Exam 的难度应该会稍微提高，要考个 A 必须下不少功夫了。数学系的课目总是让我战战兢兢，也许是我对它的要求总是比较高。也许是我的问题吧!

近来得知，班上一位和我非常要好的女生已踏入爱情世界， 替她感到高兴。希望她可以找到幸福，永远快乐。。。。

最近再也没追电视节目了，前几周都会在九点之前赶回家收看 <一房半厅一水缸> ，自 <荷兰村> 之后也没什么本地风味的电视剧，今年终于来了一部， 故事情节还不错，让我见识到了人性的丑陋和黑暗。 其实现实生活中，我们常常和不同背景，不同性格的人擦肩而过， 一个人是好是坏， 需要一段时间， 一些事件仔细观察和判断。就像 一对相爱的男女，双方要经过挫折才能更深刻地了解彼此，努力维系感情，很多时候说得容易做时难。

考试倒数三周，是时候开始到 YIH 温书了， 我对我自己说， 一定要把不快乐的事件抛在后头，乐观地面对未来的挑战。常常也对她这么说，人生就是一段艰难曲折的路程。 我知道最近这一段时间发生了很多事情， 非常突然， 希望她可以振作起来。

想在此借用 Avril Lavigne 的一首歌来表达心情。。。

今天又开心又伤感，傍晚下的大雨来的真是时候， 很珍惜。。。。。

有些时候你为某些事筹备一番， 最后才发现是多余的， 总觉得自己很笨。。。。。

糊涂的我又不小心弄丢了 thumbdrive，我也不知该怎么说。。。算了吧!

Leona Lewis – Better In Time

All the way from Hackney, East London, she was the X Factor’s clear favourite from the beginning and after transcending the show, I knew she was never going to be an ordinary talent show winner. "Better in Time", fourth track on her album, Spirit, is very much the power ballad that someone being groomed for divahood might release. This number can’t really match the success of her previous smash hit “Bleeding Love” but it can again prove that she is blessed with a voice of power and restraint.
