A meaningful saturday

Went to help out at Cerebral Palsy Centre yesterday morning. Was thinking it would be great to spend a sat morning with this group of friends before I fly off soon. Realized I was so busy the whole sch sem that I have not spent a single session with them, really guilty man. Jeralyn and Da Lang are still looking good and their boccia skills have improved. *clap* Was so embarrassed when I lost 4 games out of 5 yesterday, time to brush up on my aiming techniques liao. Another competition coming up next year, they may have lost the last one in Aug, but I have a feeling they will win the coming one. Jiayou!

UC enrollment has started and so far I can only manage to enrol 2 modules which do not require pre-requisites. I will crash 2 other modules on the first class since the profs have already reserved a place for me. So I will be taking 4 modules in the Winter sem. Perhaps 3 more mods in the Spring sem. Now I am hoping my housing application would be successful. I don't wanna live in the streets!! I just checked, the weather now is 5 degrees, faintz!

Tmr going back to school to settle my module mapping issue and passing my notes to junior.

2008 is coming to an end, time really flies! As usual, am going to do a review of this year's top 5 songs pretty soon. A tough fight man!

Counting down to departure

Thanks to Jerry for your encouragement and your smses really cheered me up. Bro, I am fine, really, guess it takes time to fully recover. Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday k!

17 days to departure, yefeng said I have lots of time to prepare, I dunnoe, seems like there are lots of things to bring over. I just spent like 400 plus this afternoon purchasing luggages and winter clothings. The salesman's kou-cai was really good, explaining the different categories of clothing for various temperature range.

Will be staying at my cousin's place for the last week of this year before moving into University Inn just for 2 days and then into Santa Cruz hostel. I applied for campus housing at a place called The Village. It is really living near a farm, but I hope it isn't too near. Don't think I am used to the odor.

I made an important decision today. Yup, I am going to Quebec, Canada on my own expense for a very special reason during my March break. Really hope tat I can achieve my purpose of going there. It will be a surprise man!

可怕的事实发生了，离开了， 她走了。。我感到非常后悔和愤怒， 发现自己还有好多好多事情没做， 好多好多话没说。 我只能说， 我尽力了。。

陪了她大约6 小时， 十点钟开始把行李搬到车上，凌晨 12 点决定到乌节路看圣诞灯饰， 可惜看不到 10 分钟， 灯全都关了。她感到失望， 但却默默的走着，我知道她有点依依不舍 ， 但我也无奈地跟随着她。。。到机场的路途上，她不断地打哈欠， 明明是累了， 但又不肯休息， 心情沉重的她躺在车座上， 一句话也没说。凌晨 1 点 现抵达T3, 为了寻找一台 ipod touch， 但又空手地离开。

凌晨两点抵达BT， 我们看了一小时的 Bad Boys II， 肚子饿的她忍不住选了个甜甜圈。她程搭 TA 的航班， 是没有供应早餐的，非常节俭的她肯定不会购买机场的食物， 最近因Finals三餐不定，胃频频痛，所以我准备半打的甜甜圈。Check-in 时她因行李太多而不带， 最后我只好拜托 TA 人员把食物送上机， 虽然被他们骂了几句， 无所谓吧。。。算了

争取机会

我时常把好运当作理所当然，而忽略了有些时候，机会是要靠自己去争取的，但我却让它擦身而过。我再也不要做个骑墙派了， 要当机立断、能割能捨的勇气，才能正有所得。。。

倒数九天， 我又能创造什么奇迹呢？

Actions speak louder than words…oh well, 要勇敢向前走！

Life has been difficult and emotional these days, apart from coping with Exams and preparing for Santa Cruz.

Many people can't wait for their last paper to come.

I just do not want 8 Dec to arrive, trying to convince myself that I wouldn't cry on that morning.

8 months...short? It seems pretty long and miserable to me.

Can somebody just stop the time?....oh well~

A bright sunday to be cooped at home

Close to 2 weeks of not blogging, have lots to update, yet I am feeling really lazy, or shall I say busy and frustrated, especially at this point in time just 2 weeks before the final exams arrive. Today was set aside for me to just stay at home and recuperate from my headache and sore throat, throat seems okay le, just that the pain appears on and off. Went to Khatib for half an hr just to hand Tracy her French handouts before heading to AMK centre to buy lunch. Was tempted to try the western spaggetti with fried chicken wings...but I did manage to control myself which was a good thing. Sometimes we need to have self control, esp at the Tiger brewery tavern!

Yesterday's French class was pretty interactive, amazingly only half of the class turned up (16/2 = 8). I had already missed 2 classes due to dragonboat and Liya's makeup claz, so I can only afford to miss another one. I would need that cert to graduate, well, at least to fulfill NYAA's little requirement. And speaking abt that, I havnt wrote the ICCs thingy, argg! Perhaps Jerry is right, I shouldnt spend too much time on other unnecessary stuff like music :p

Well, before French, I actually went over to Ngee Ann City to witness the start of the Subaru Impreza Challenge 2008. This is like my tradition every year end to go over and watch the competition. 400 participants, with over 300 Singaporeans taking part this yr. Record was 77 hours by a girl who took part last year. That is like more than 3 days!!! Not sure if anyone can break that.

I missed last Fri's class, made that decision after feeling terribly bad when I woke up at 7. Incidentally, both lecturers were looking for me. Yefeng said that I was famous, Ya Rite!

I have finally booked my flight, SQ16, flying off on Dec 28 morning to San Francisco. Oh ya, resting for an hour at Seoul. Shopping lar! Meiy will be envious of me..haha...well, Just hope that I won't get lost, it is not Singapore afterall, everywhere is like very big...It takes 6 hrs to drive down to LA from San Frans, omg, think I going to abort the idea of shopping at LA. Booking of flight is easy, but mapping of modules is horrible x 10!!! I dun want to get screwed by Dawn or "Fei1 Mao1" before exams, it is an unlucky sign!

More updates on the trip to Santa Cruz, and lots of preparation to be done in Dec, and I havent apply for Visa yet! Where is my I-20 document???

Music has a way of making you feel like everything is going to be O.K, yup, tat kind of feel-good music in summer and makes you fall in love with it easily. It's the kind of music that Plain White T's make. If you can remember their successful single last year "Hey There Delilah" then you would already have some idea what their pop grunge-esque tunes might sound like. 1. 2. 3. 4 is so cheesy, but it's perfect for anyone with love on their mind. It's not a groundbreaking masterpiece for this album, but it's a solid effort that's easy to listen to over and over again.

NTU Breakfast

Am blogging from NTU right now! Sent qt to NIE today, its been a while since I last visited the Engine Fac, and was surprised to see a few new food outlets after the closure of Canteen A. Then walked into Bistro Restaurant and was attracted by the breakfast set.

Only 2.5 bucks! To me, it taste like heaven, love it! This would probably make me visit NTU more frequently. =)
