周式R&B情歌还是比较让人印象深刻的, 尤其是专辑里的《我不配》很煽情，晚上自己一个人听特别有感觉。在K的程度之内, 也是水准与预料之内的。我觉得歌迷可以很快抓到演唱的技巧，马上进入KTV大练特练。说难不难，说容易不容易。歌曲叙述了演艺人员的不自由和无奈，也隐约地批评媒体积极到过分的跟拍方式。我总觉得整首歌有点悲伤的味道, 正好配合现在的心情。遗憾的， 他没有在演唱会展现这首歌。

周杰伦2008世界巡回演唱会

一月十九日

激动，兴奋， 紧张。。。非常期待这场万众瞩目的演出， 果然没让我失望，$128 的门票是值得的。 第一次踏入新加坡室内体育馆， 真的让我大跌眼镜。雷射灯、音响及灯光设备仪器非常齐全，看见人群从四面八方涌过来，仿佛在室内看国庆。 哈，这次终于让我有个机会目睹新加坡"粉丝"的热情，杰伦在现场总是唱出不一样的感觉，有时候我真的不得不佩服他。南拳妈妈也来助阵，首次看到 Lara， 一向来都很欣赏她的嗓子，可惜昨晚没和唱<珊瑚海>。 杰伦的外婆也来了， 跳了支舞， 当然不是 Hiphop 啦，我可不希望有什么悲剧的诞生。

< 黄金甲, 牛仔很忙，彩虹, 阳光宅男, 甜甜的, 最长的电影, 夜的第七章, 听妈妈的话, 千里之外, 退后, 夜曲, 发如雪, 一路向北, 双截棍, 开不了口, 不能说的秘密, 霍元甲…>

短短的 2hr 45 mins， 他就演唱这么多首琅琅上口的好歌， 也无法列出每一首。每次在电视看见"粉丝"举起荧光棒，我好想也试一试，好好感受一下演唱会气氛, 大胆地疯狂疯狂一下。还记得当他演唱<牛仔很忙>时，大家都站了起来， 和他一起大声地唱 : " 不要麻烦了， 不要麻烦了。。。我超喜欢<霍元甲> 的演出，尤其当歌曲到了附歌， 我就不知不觉地喊 “霍霍霍霍霍霍霍霍!” 。。 有点疯了似。。。

哈! Mister Lyon 也有好玩的一面，不管了，反正大家都那么 high ， 就筹一筹热闹。Who cares!

美好的时光真的过的很快，我要好好的珍惜，把它和她永远记下来。。。

The cycle...

I finally bought the long sleeve shirt that I wanted, though a bit ex, but I like it very much! Yay!

Sch started...a bit slack this wk... Printing notes, going lectures, travelling to different fac, I think I am alreadi used to it. Didnt start my first day of school well. Was caught in a traffic jam for 45 mins, was supposed to meet the 'buyer' of my statics text at 9, reached at 945. Chose a gem, decided to drop it after sitting in the 1st lec today. A bit undecisive, that's just me, sometimes I just dunnoe wat to do with myself. Can't get my direction right. Anyway, now everything has been settled.....

2 days, attended some of the core mod lectures. Not surprising, Prof Wee is again teaching Struc design... hah, my fav lecturer last Sem, and I rem writing something for him during the teaching assessment. Nice and funny guy....just the right person for this mod. Infrastructure and cashflow stuff is essential for construction management. Hmm..somehow I think I chose the right mods last Sem. I hope they help....

Goodbye Holidays, Hello Sem 4

Its hard to believe but yea, hols are over, no more, bou liao (hokkien)...Time to go back and mug, guess the first few weeks should be able to cope. Admin stuff, bidding, balloting....all coming my way. Hope that I can get what I want. Just uploaded a few photos in facebook, didn't know it was that easy until now. Okay, I am stupid...lol...Going to try bidding for gek1505 in round 3 using 1 pt. No harm dropping it if it doesn't suit me. Don't feel like taking 6 mods again, its time to take a rest and spend the time thinking of how to raise my CAP. Christ and I used to complain to each other abt how busi we were during the previous Sem, coping with uncertainty assignment and projects. I got to admit, the workload last Sem was indeed heavy and really hope that history wun repeat itself again. Haha, as I told Matt, life is not always a smooth journey. Hiccups and conflicts appear to spice up your life. It depends on how effective you are in solving it. Choose the correct way and you will go far......

Hols were well spent, went to a couple of fav places, met up with a few groups of old friends and spent a lot of money. I dun even dare to update my bank account book...lol, got to be mentally prepared first before I get a heart attack....

Seriously, I will never never buy this album if this ballot wasn't in it. This number features the best vocal performance from Adam Levine so far as he makes a 180 degree change of pace from the previous single "Wake Up Call". Things are getting a bit gentle now. It is the sweet, easy, singalong chrous that would really capture the attention of their fans. A well-crafted pop song to be shared with everyone...

Btw, I give this song 4.0 out of 5 星星s....

A day to remember

Elated...Managed to spend half a day with her alone. Went to collect concert tics at Jurong Pt, only to realise that Sistic counter is unavailable. Then went IMM, met with some verification prob at the counter, lucky I brought the email and finally revived the smile on her face. Shopped around for CL's bdae gift, treated her to Hazelnut Cappucino. Nice and memorable day ^^ (Sometimes I just wish this afternoon will never end).

Rainy gathering

Felt lethargic, restless, a bit sick. Or I just do not want today to even exist. Woke up at 11 plus though alarm was set at 8. Am going to make a couple of decisions today. After thinking through the whole night, decided to give up MA1104 and change to a physics gem. Also considering changing landscape with meiling, but aborted the idea after looking thru the past yr papers. Mister Lyon doesn't like to write essays, but he knows he has to, probably in the future. Living with Mathematics seems easy, CL said so and she seemed confident. 1 pt shd be able to get it, the last I checked, the class is not even HALF FULL leh. Apparantly, both lectures r conducted at night, two nights....*faint* She lives in hall, doesnt matter to her anyway. Have to make a quick decision for SEP by tomorrow, still thinking.....

Went to visit Kailuen mei at ntu on Mon since I didn't want to go home yet after the talk. Decided to try out the shuttle bus service fr Canteen A to hall 6 and waited like 15-20 mins. Really need to increase the freq lor. Anywae, had a nice chat with her, then went to shop at the 'ntu fairprice'. Bought a pack of cheese creamy biscuits and finished it in a day. Crazy me. I like cheese ma, who doesn't? Glad she liked the white watch for her bday prezy, I like it too!

EVE gathering yesterday at ECP. The attendance was kind of low, a handful didn't turn up at the last min, probably due to the rain. Cycling was then cancelled, poor meiling, she actually came to cycle. haha...BBQ was a success, until abt 9 when it started to drizzle again. Waited for the rain to stop but it just got worse. Considering that ocean has to work early today, decided to drove them home at 12. First time driving at night with such a heavy rain, really scary when I can't even see the lane markings clearly. But I managed to do it, reached home at 130am...Fell into slumberland shortly.....

Linkin Park - Shadow Of The Day

Third single from their 'Minutes To Midnight' album. Very unusual as I am more used to them shouting and screaming. 'Shadow Of The Day' is the most depressing and sensitive song that I hav heard from these guys ever since 'My December'. They have really EMO-ed to a higher level as compared to other bands. Well, at least Chester Bennington can rest his vocal cords this time while recording for this song. Overall, a genuine and heartfelt tune about societal strife which would probably power LP's success.

A tough choice

Received the SEP results yesterday, wanted so badly to go McGill, didn't get it and got an offer for Tampere. Couldnt sleep the whole night. Still hesitating, very confused and disappointed. I wanna appeal la. Dun really feel like going Finland leh....

Just came back from Orchard, took a fancy on a very nice long sleeeve white shirt at OG Bugis. Didnt buy in the end. Maybe I will get it in the next few days....I wanna wear that to his concert, 2 weeks away, excited n breathless.

Oh, bidding has been really smooth thus far, yup, because the real 'fight' happens next week.....Actually still considering whether to take MA1104 as breadth. This Sem's modules are taking up the most popular timeslots like 1-3pm. Then those Gems/breadth that I like just happen to have lec at this period. :< Meeting meiling tmr, still havnt sort out my CE2155 notes for her!...Tata!

A brand new start!

Yay! 2008! A brand new year with new hopes and achievements, that's what I hope to have. Spent the first day with quanfu and the Chipmunks. haha...Ok, the movie is funny, it's refreshing to hear rats talk & sing and the way the cinema kids laugh and giggle. Still can't believe that Jesse Mccartney did the voice thing for Theodore, but he did it pretty well, was a little impressed. I thought he only knew how to sing and act.

Then went shopping again, lol, Mister Lyon just can't resist the temptation of spending money. But AMK Hub is a paradise for ladies lah, so difficult to find a shop that sells men clothing. So straight away chiong to J8 to do window shopping and started comparing prices and quality. So now very tired to think of New Year resolutions.....maybe next few days ba...

As predicted, congrats to the emo My Chemical Romance for winning the song of the year 2007 with "Welcome To The Black Parade". Awesong album, deserved to be given credits. Big question is whether they would be able keep up that level of success this year. Will be expecting more hits from them...

Class outing on 8 Jan, cycling and BBQ at East Coast......
