Facts about pencils!

Gee...came across this list, pretty interesting. Here it goes...

• There's a 0% chance of lead poisoning if you get STABBED with a pencil. They haven't contained lead in decades. It's all clay and graphite. But you do have a risk of the stab wound getting infected.
  
• The word "pencil" comes from the Latin word "penicillus" which means "little tail".
  
• The average pencil could draw a line that's 35 miles long. Or, it could write about 45,000 words.
  
• Before erasers were invented, writers fixed mistakes by rubbing them with bread crumbs.
  
• The world's largest pencil is on display in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's 65 feet high.
  
• Pencils can write in a zero gravity environment. But don't take them into outer space because the wood is flammable.
