Feeling the heat

Apparently, after today, its difficulty escalated to the highest level.

So much so that I feel like giving up.

Starting to feel the incoming pressure and stress.

But then again, why am I so bothered about things that don't really make any significance in my life.

There is only one reason.

Melaka Weekend Getaway

Went on a short Melacca trip with the usual SEP gang. Pretty comfortable with these people as we knew each other so well. Lots to eat and shop over there, oh and we watched Adjustment Bureau for 10 Ringgit. Really loved the movie plot!

So the journey begins....

As planned, we went to queue for the famous Chicken Rice Balls located at the end of Jonker's Street. It was 3pm by the time we reached the place and the queue was still long. We were starving and tired from the long bus ride, but we still managed to wait for abt 1/2 hr. The rice balls were really tiny, just like those golf balls and the serving portion for the chicken was small (we ordered 1 whole chicken) but their home made chilli was still the best-est!

Desserts shortly after lunch at Jonker 88 which was famous for its Ice Kachang. I had the one on top, Sagu Gula Melaka. Didnt really like it, the sugar level was lil too high. Or maybe I just don't fancy the taste. Shd have just ordered Ice Kachang.

1 hour later, headed straight to Nadeje for the Thousand Layers cake. Each of us ordered one although we were really full.

The weirdest thing is that we started eating again an hour later after doing some window shopping in the mall. It was raining heavily and we were sort of 'trapped'. Then we saw A&W!! Just couldn't resist the temptation.

I miss Root Beer Float with vanilla ice cream! oh, and curly fries! Aww....

Impromptu movie plan due to the persistant rain. Movie started at 730pm, finally had time to rest and settle down for something more relaxing. Cinema is pretty much the same as the one we have here, just that the tickets are cheaper =)

Jonker Walk shopping was next, back to the place we had lunch that afternoon. U will be surprised at the huge crowd. It's almost like Chinatown during CNY season.

Last stop of the day was having dinner at Capitol Restoran Satay. It was already 12am when we finally got a table. The hunger was back...

Can I call it a Satay steamboat? Every stick of food cost only 0.80 ringgit! Satay celup is served and eaten like lok lok and steamboat, except the main difference in sauce. Instead of boiling pot of soup, satay celup is cooked by dipping or dunking sticks of raw foods into boiling pot of rich and spicy peanut sauce.

Imperfection

Now I can't speak properly and fluently.

Its like I am down with some disability, but I hope its not.

A simple but unnatural sneeze this morning sort of tore my facial joint muscles.

Sad because I have lots of important meetings this week and I am thinking of cancelling my classes temporary.

Can't eat, chew, jump, dance, speak, smile.

Wow! what imperfection!

and it had to happen to me. Oh great!

Its the last week of February.

Surprisingly, everything has been on a smooth path.

I guess because I have been taking things a bit easier nowadays and I can finally 'breathe' better.

Yes, for the past 3 weeks, I have never felt so much better. Yet, I ain't sure if this will last but I believe everything shall fall into their rightful place very soon.

Looking forward to next month where I will be taking a short weekend getaway.

Time to relieve the experience I had two years ago. *beams*

Decided to abort the Belfast trip, and furthermore, I guess they dun really need me to go with them and talking abt that, suddenly I miss Pan Min so much, I hope she is doing well in Dublin =)

Shall write an email to her soon, felt so bad that I actually didn't reply her previously.

Had my first Astons meal at MapleTree Business Park. It was my pick and it turned out I didn't make the wrong choice. The restaurant was half filled during dinnertime, which was what I expected actually. This place is actually behind PSA, at Pasir Panjang area. and I am so so in love with that huge grassland where I can actually sit there and enjoy an awesome view of the tall office buildings and the great scenery. When u pointed out that the office lights were still on, I actually said stupidly that I felt like I was in Vegas -_-''' I guess people work OT, esp at the start of the week, when emails strangely start to congest in your inbox during the weekends.

Watched 'No Strings Attached' recently and I didn't realized that Natalie Portman was also in 'Black Swan', oh well some film which I will never never watch. But at least the scenes in NSA were still 'acceptable', compared to 'Love and Other Drugs' which I thought should never be NC16 at all. But I still like NSA's storyline, something that apparently is quite common in this world, probably in the western areas. Oh, and I would probably catch "I am Number Four' when it releases next week, time for thrillers!

Happy Lunar New Year!

It seems like Xmas a month ago, and now another festive holiday yet again.

Have you checked your horoscope for 2011?

I read a couple, but never choose to believe what they usually say.

So the routine family house visiting ended on Day 2, when I have another 2 days to wander around and do my own visiting.

Had Swensens Earthquake with LLF on Day 3, impromptu meetup in town.

and we realize the best time to visit town is during cny! Pretty empty =)

Anyway, looking forward to having Astons next wk! Whee!

February is here.

Its time to keep to my promise and slow down the pace....
