Sheng Kee Chicken Rice

After watching Buzzing Cashier 2, finally they are 'saving' a Chicken Rice stall.

Okay, so last Tue, the 'thought-he-was-very-free' Lyon went all the way to Blk 704 Bedok Reservoir Road to try. It was my third time btw. Gave up waiting for the previous 2 trips made, coz the queue is supersuper long. There is a big carpark behind the coffee shop, so not very difficult to find a lot.

....Waited..waited for I think roughly 1hr 20 mins. Shouldn't have gone during lunch peak, shd go like 11am, maybe tat would be more suitable.

Personally, I really like the chilli cuz it has that X-factor that really makes it stand out from the rest. Not very sweet tho, but for chicken rice still okay. $2.50 is pretty reasonable. Of cuz, it taste really good, maybe I was too hungry after waiting so long..afterall, it was taught by hotel chef, so must at least keep up the standard. Only the stall owner knows the secret formula, so he has to do most of the preparation by himself. Not many helpers also...his wife is mainly doing the packing and collecting of money.

Perhaps, after a few months, things will get better for them.

Weekends here!

Its finally Friday. This week flew past really quick, its the end of week 2, so tutorials will start next week. But I only have one, so I guess I am really lucky.

Had breakfast at Palette today, Set C breakfast, its been a month since I went NTU anyway. Somehow the carpark gantries are not working, or maybe they are doing some redevelopment, so I parked for FREE :D Its weird tat a simple breakfast set can lure me to go all the way to the west, but I think it's worth it. Wanted to end the day with Haato at Ridgeclose, really missed the gelato, and I havnt been back there since I came back from the States. But dropped the idea cuz its not really advisable to eat ice cream during a cold day.

Today wasnt a good day for me. Drenched slightly and almost got knocked dwn by a car, my negligence lar :x

On the bright side, ESESC is forming its 2nd management committee currently, the exco and directors have been selected. Its going to be a new start with the freshies leading the teams and I hoped everything goes well. Its been a year since this small but mightly club was born. I used the word 'mightly' because I did not expect so many club-organised activities to happen within this year. ESE camp and graduation dinner went really smoothly, thou there were hiccups along the way. Happiness comes from planning. I guess all of us in the club achieved a certain level of that 'happiness' from the various events that were organised by the brave directors. Felt rather confident that Wenwei will lead the club in a better direction this time round.

Great changes may not happen right away,
but with effort even the difficult may become easy.

MisterLyon is doing FYP with a PhD student who is on maternity leave and now in China. How interesting! She is going to design the expt for me and explain to me via MSN chat. Then Dr He is always so busy. So I guess I am going to be alone in the labs doing expt in the future. Must check feng shui, hmmm...

I want to

- Watch 'Where Got Ghost' or 'The Proposal' during this lunar 7th month
- Eat Haato ice cream and Haatlets at Ridgeclose
- Eat Furong chicken set at Makan Place at Ngee Ann Poly
- Taste the chicken rice at Blk 704 Bedok Reservoir Road Kopitiam
- play bowling

After the ESE camp, was really shag, but luckily there was a Thurs for me to rest at home. But somehow I felt an urge to wonder out and scout for gifts for the poly girls from my class.

Its there BIG day afterall!

1st week of school

In sch right now, waiting for design proj, then going home to rest. Not feeling well :( , probably didn't sleep much yesterday. 3 - 530am, okay, just 2.5 hrs. Little!

Attended the MA1421 today for the first time. 8am at "hill-top" LT32. I think this is the 2nd time I having lec there. The prof just like Prof Bai, boring but his level of humor is a little bit higher than Bai. Squeeze Theory = Sandwich Theory, he can actually use his own-made sandwich to explain -_- With the ham and the cheese...haha. On the other hand, mass transfer lec was okay, perhaps we were only served the "appetizer" yesterday. So awaiting the main meal coming. Calculations is something I like, but how many times can I form the mass transfer eqn correctly? Felt rather lost, the mods at UC didnt really touch on mass transfer, or the easier kind was taught to me.

Talking abt UC, hah, long-awaited transcript is now in my hands! Last step is to map all credits, which Jolene will take care of it. Kind of miss the campus, I miss the buses, miss my Route 16. and of cos my friends!

Oh, and we had a Banana Slug meeting this monday for the few of us who went there for exchange! Just for info, 'Banana slug' was the mascot for UCSC. We ate, played pool, and LAN. I gave up on LAN, something which I didnt really like ever since I started Counter Strike. Not playing it anymore, next outing, I WANT BOWLING!


Sadly, I have yet updated my London n Paris trip. I will think abt it. Slowly, I will post something up =P

Their age range from 17 to 20, yet these 5 young Korean girls had already released 4 albums and this song is actually their third #1 hit single. There was a huge sensation when this number was first released last year online in the original Korean version. And this year, their record company made a wise choice to release an English one, breaking into the US market. Now, it can be played officially on radio! They are everywhere!!

I had to admit this is an amazing song. The tune itself is so catchy, even my 7-year-old cousin recognizes it when it was played on TV. And of course, their dance moves…..with the clap clap. Who wouldn’t remember?

Set to release their first FULL English album soon after their current tour. They ain’t coming to the Lion City tho. This single is really hot on all radio channels here and could probably be taking over the throne for this year’s hit song. I am waiting to see how it will do on the charts. Most pple would prefer the Korean version, me included, cuz there are a few notes that are seriously OFF on the Eng version, probably due to their uneasiness with the language. And, btw, I heard the Eng version was recorded line by line in the studio. But then, mind you, they are Korean singers, it isn’t easy.

Do u think Stefanie Sun can sing Jap???

Btw, I give this song 4.5 out of 5 leaves....

Crashed Victor's module today, MA1100, can't imagined there were 180 SM2 students, means confirmed cannot score le. haha...all the PRCs taking this mod as part of their bridging course. A lot of mathematical proving required. Can't find any reason for me to keep this mod, so most likely taking MA1421. Looks better to me, like repeating MA1505 which is pretty gd. Can recap differentiation and integration, double, triple..watever...Was a bit worried abt my cap for lvl 1 mods, but Jolene said there isn't any cap. Was really glad. I don't have any S/U to fall back on. Though Space and Health looks appealing to me....but, I have to maintain my honor class, so falling back on Maths to help me out this last sem..
